Booking
- Flights booked — Brussels Airlines, ref 9D2CBQ
- Book all three accommodations (Pristava Lepena fills fast)
- Reserve Strelec (Ljubljana) and Hiša Polonka (Kobarid)
- Book Hiša Polonka, Kobarid — Day 9 dinner (Ana Roš's bistro, ~€35pp)
- Optional: reserve Pri Mari (Piran, Day 4) & Topli Val (Kobarid, Day 8) for a sure table
Transport
- Train to Lesce-Bled (Day 3)
- Buses: Ljubljana ↔ Piran and Piran → Ljubljana → Bovec
- Bovec → Ljubljana airport shuttle (Day 10)
- Book Kobarid → Ljubljana airport shuttle for Day 10 (GoOpti/Nomago — or take up Pri nas's own shuttle). Replaces the old "Bovec" line.
- Vintgar Gorge — check it's open and buy a timed-entry ticket online before Day 3
- Download offline maps + Arriva/Nomago apps; screenshot key bus & train times (no car)
Prep
- Break in your hiking boots
- Confirm travel insurance covers hiking + water activities
- Online check-in (opens 24h before each flight)
- Confirm with Pri nas: your arrival time + their airport-shuttle answer
- Tick precautions for the forest hikes — repellent, long socks, check for ticks after (TBE exists in Slovenia)
